The Laboratory of Nuclear Medicine provides services in range of diagnosis and treatments using radiopharmaceutic means. |
| 1. Gammacamera Laboratory is equipped with apparatus and devices enabling scintigraphic examinations in plain version, tomographic version, entire body examinations and dynamic examinations, including: examination of skeleton to estimate disease spreads, coronary test to estimate coronary disease; examinations in children suffering from urinary canals infections. |

2. Thyroid Laboratory provides the following: |

- complex diagnosis and therapeutic treatment in cases of diseases: scintigraphy, ultrasonography, thin-needle biopsy, hormone tests;
- treatments using iodine J-131 in cases of hyperfunction of thyroid and indifferent bronchocele; |
|
3. The laboratory specializing in "in vitro" examinations, determines hormone intensities of antibodies, growth hormone, procalcitonine and other; |
|
4. We offer paliative pain treatments in case of cancer spread to bones. |

The Laboratory of Nuclear Medicine comprises, in its organizational structure, the Laboratory of Culture Growth Tests where we provide determination of TSH and phenyloalanine in newborn babies, aimed at exclusion of congenital hypofunction or phenylocetonuris - the latter under national program on culture growth examinations. |
